I buy makeup because I love how I can either enhance my features or go to extreme. I rarely throw anything out...if I try it once and don't like it I either return it or give away to the women at the shelter volunteer at. And sometimes my mother-in-law will come over and "shop" my collection.lol.

I collect haha I probably have like 5 blushes of the same color, and do I need them? Of course not! Haha Plus I never really throw anything out even though I should just because I always think, "Maybe I'll use this one day. You never know..."

I collect it. I'm a hoarder. I love it, I wear it, but I rarely buy things that people "need," such as foundation, powder, concealer etc. because A, I think that stuff's boring and B, I very rarely need it or use it, I happen to have good enough skin not to :)

Omg...I am a complete addict and for things I alrdy have and don't even need. my obsession is foundations. I must have tried well over forty different kinds and each time a new one comes out I need to try it lol...I do get rid of a lot tho and give it to my boyfriend's sister. she has enough to last her a lifetime because of me haha.

I see makeup as more of a function, so no, not really. however, I love the artistic expression that eyeshadow gives me so I guess you could say I collect eyeshadow palettes for their colors. like Jacqueline, I also love brushes! tools are everything to an artist and once I realized how much variety there is for makeup brushes I began researching and collecting those (I also collect paint brushes)

I try not to buy something if I'm not actually going to use it. As cute as some packaging is if I'm not genuinely going to use the product I won't buy it. I think the closest I've come to buying something just to collect it was the Ariel storylook palette/collection. But even then I only got the palette and the compact lol. I would have liked to get all of the collection but I didn't think I'd actually use them so I refrained lol.
