Does braiding your hair, then using a flat iron actually work? Like will I end up with wavy hair if I try it? Thanks(:

I haven't done it myself but I've done it on my friend and it worked on her. But then my other friend tried it and said it didn't work for her. But other than her I've heard it works.

It doesn't work if your hair is naturally thick or curly or frizzy. At all.

It does work! Depends on the size of the braid! If you have a thick braid You just have to be carful if you hold it on your hair to long, because it could damage your hair.

@Sara S. Thanks! I'll see how it goes then.

I'd just damp your hair and wait for it to dry in the braids, that's what I do and I get pretty waves.

@Malarie J. Alright! I'll be a bit careful then, thanks(:

Keep in mind the thicker your hair and the thicker the braids, the longer it takes to dry. And it only needs to be damp, not super wet or it won't dry all the way.

Okay(: thank you

There's a huge difference that some people don't seem to notice (not the people that commented on here, others people who have commented on other stuff), if you want crimpy waves then do the braids, if you like soft flowy waves then no.

Oh I had another question..does it work if you just twist your hair instead of braiding?

Okay thanks!

It works two if its a rope braid, not a twist, the twist won't stay.

Rope braid is two strands, search it up.

It doesn't really "curl" your hair it kinda makes your hair look like you used a crimper hahah.

Since it doesn't work if you have thick or naturally frizzy hair that's probably why it didn't work on my friend! She has really really thick hair! Haha you're welcome! Hope it works for you!
