Hey! I'm new to all this makeup stuff and I was wondering if anyone can give me any good tips, tricks and good products! I'm trying to stick to Sephora and I am looking at sets! I like benefit but I'm not sure if it's worth the hype because I know NOTHING about it. Please let me know if you have a value set, like the Smashbox Try It Kit, or anything similar that is nice! Thanks.

I like elf as well I have been looking into their products but some people say their stuff is hit and miss so I don't know which products are worth it and which are pointless. If you have any holy grail products please let me know!

Yeah, If your just starting out I would stick to cheaper products like elf. Its one of my favorite brands since everything's so cheap and it's very good quality. I would try going to sephora once you get yourself settled in with everything and learn more about what's going on.

I actually also like elf! I thought it would suck cuz it was so cheep, but I was like, what the hell. its 6 dollars, might as well try it out! it applys very well, but some colors need a couple layers if you want them super vibrent. I would recomend mixing them with a bit of water for better color payoff. :) and one extremely crusial piece of advice--keep practicing. when I first got into makeup, I thought I would be good right away. (I wasn't) but eventually, there are things that you will learn by yourself without a youtube vid or someone else. it doesn't take to long to figure out the basic, and you will discover new things along the way. beat wishes! xoxo.
