Warning although you can wash them from personal experience (my aunt who had them and shes a hair dresser) they take forever to dry even with a blow dryer. But you would look lovely, just you must take good care of them.

Thank you girls so much! I would defiantly try them, because I know how to do faux dreads so I will experiment when I have time and post pictures of the fake ones! And I've heard of combing them out! Imagine how awesome of a protective style they'd be!

Meagan, that isn't actually the only way! I wouldn't ever want to ruin my hair, and I stay away from things that will! You can comb dreads out! It takes a bit , but I wouldn't do it if I had to shave my head! It depends on the kind of technique you use too! I'd use one that is dreads , and neat but easy or easier to get out!

I had them for a while. I got sick of them and tried combing them out. My hair was frizzy, broken and horrendous after essentially ripping the knots apart. I ended up cutting all my hair off, rather than deal with that damaged mess. I love the hell out of dreads, but they are a commitment & they don't leave your hair in even slightly decent condition when you brush them out. They'd be cute definitely, but think about it before you dive in.
