I admit, I'm guilty of not washing my makeup brushes. But in my defense, I don't know how to!
I've tried wiping them down with my makeup remover wet wipes but that's doesn't seem to get them completely clean.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks of how to clean makeup brushes?

I use baby shampoo... I put some in my hand, wet my brush and swirl it in my hand in circular motions. Then rinse until the water runs clear. Michelle Phan as a video on it (except she uses dish washing liquid and Olive oil instead)

I always wash mine facing down. Usually under room temperature water. I use regular shampoo and conditioner to keep them really soft. I just put some shampoo in my hand, and press the brush down against it so it opens and fans out and rinse it off this way and same with conditioner.

I actually use my face soap, my theory is that's how I wash my face that's how I can wash my brushes lol.

Hey Ladies! Thank you all for your responses.
So I tried cleaning them with my shampoo and it worked perfectly! They came out soo soft! :)
My next question now is, how do I get the "sponge" brushes clean? Shampoo didn't quite work because there's still color on them...
