I love kabuki brush. Kabuki is amazing for powder for example. I apply blush with kabuki. and it looks good too :) In addition kabuki can be small so you can have it with you everytime :)

For brands? I recommend Real Techniques. You can get them at Ulta and they're really soft and pretty affordable. My favorites from them is the blush brush and powder brush. I think it's good to have a big fluffy brush for powder in your kit! :) Hope I helped. :)

I absolutely agree with Allie. I've heard good things about sigma, but the price is outrageous. Real Techniques are available at ulta and the target website, but I get mine from amazon since they're cheaper. I love how soft and easy to clean they are, plus they are fairly inexpensive. The quality is amazing!! My favorites are the multitask face brush and the domed shadow brush.
