So I absolutely suck at fashion but I just bought this dress that I'm in love with! It shows in the back but I'm just wondering what can I put over it to make it not so blah?

Colorful shoes or a colorful sweater/sweatshirt? Personally I'd do really bright makeup and a long silver pendant necklace, but I like simple outfits.
