My husband often reads BL Talk because he's in the beauty industry and he's curious to know what us beauty junkies are talking about. He asked me to post something in regards to hair loss because he has seen posts where many of us have suggested going to the doctor and or dermo for assistance. But he wanted to add that while all that is good...going to your primary doctor to cancel out any internal issues he said that sadly going to most dermos will not properly diagnois because unless they specialized in the study of hair and scalp dermotalogy during their dematology residency you may not get an accurate read of your hair loss. He said when looking for a dermatologist its important to ask pointed questions as to what they have certifications in. One who's sole purpose is cosmetic dermatology may not be of much assistance to you. While one who has a certificate in trichology and sole practice is mainly centered around hair loss...well then you hit pay dirt...is a better fit as they can give you clear and precise diagnois and give you an action plan to treat the condition. Thus saving you money in the long run and of course further heartache. Hope this was of some help to some of you. :)

You're welcome ladies. I'm hoping that one day he'll just create a profile on BL but with his schedule and contract obligations it would be hard. Next month he leaves for Japan for six months. :(
