Honestly, I would say DO NOT NOT NOT try to achieve a specific color at home especially on dark hair. You will basically fry your hair and then most likely have to get the color corrected. Also, temporary color doesn't really show up on dark brown hair, from experience ): unless you use a maroon hair chalk! :)
