I bought this to try something new. I'm thinking about taking it back unless I can make it a great outfit. how would I do so? I do not like the skirt its with also its very cold here lol.

You don't even have to wear heels- they are flattering, yes, but a pair of cute ballerina flats would look nice too. I agree with leggings underneath. It would take away from the cold factor :)

I like high - waisted skinny jeans or black skater skirts with crop tops. Tights with black thigh high socks layered over them make the skirt more winter-friendly.
