From last week. got no replys..

So I have a couple of these nyx cream blushes.. I'd been swatching them for awhile at ulta and love that they had some bright n hot colors so when nyx had 40% cyber monday I got a few..
now that I'm wearing cream blush more I've pulled these out. I can't say they are my fav. their a tad dense and I find the color flat. there's no real finish to them..I'm still playing around with the best way to apply them. but meanwhile I figured I'd ask you ladies. do I have this and how do you apply it best.??

I've used a stipple, sponge, and flat foundation brush to draw a line n blend in with fingers..
will prob try just fingers or a wet sponge next. we'll c.. let me kno what you girls are doing. thanks!.. ;-)

And I don't like to lol.

Lol. I have one of the stick ones that you're talking about.
the new maybelline ones are so much smoother. I actually use them directly on the skin and then blend out with a sponge or my fingers. but overall the maybelline blush stick finish is so much nicer.
I think I'm going to play with these for a bit then give them away. I wipe them out after every use with that in mind. lol.

I honestly have never tried any cream blushes, I get way to frustrated when a product is difficult to work with. When I was reading your psst I though maybe raping on with finger tips too. If nothing else maybe it could serve as a wash if color for your lips, just a thought.

Patting not raping!

Yeah. my fingers will prob end up being the only option..
another thing I realized I don't like about these is that they wear quickly. I wore them a couple more times after I created this post last week. but it on kind of heavy with a flat top powder brush and it was gone by lunch..

Don't you just love spell check Tara.  Lmao..

Tara G.

Yes it comes up with the craziest substitutions. I have actually had spell check cause a misunderstanding of uncomfortable proportions. My bf and I just leave them in we have become proficient at translating them.

I have oily skin and have always been skeptical when it comes to cream blushes. I own two and have only worn them maybe two times.

Yeah. I'm normal to dry. and dry in this cold so its nice to wear in winter.. it'll prob melt off your face sevetria.. lol.

I have extremely dry skin and nyx cream blush gives me a decent dewy finish! I mostly use my finger and then an angled face brush to blend it some more!!

I actually have that Naomi,I bought it for $2.I use this as a base before my powder blush to help set and make the blush last longer.I apply with just my fingers because of the texture and after use Kabuki brush to buff it out.

Naomi S.

Lol @ sevetria.. don't melt!. lol.

ladies, are you gals blending it into your foundation with your fingers?. or under..
gal at Mac was telling me about putting the illuminators and cream products under foundation if you go with a light coverage.

I'm low on blush brushes. I have none right now. mine broke or died. lol. I'm going to grab a couple drugstore ones soon. eco tools most likely.

Naomi I sometimes use the NYX cream blushes, I use a blush brush and buff in circular motions.

@Naomi, I just purchased Maybelline stick cream blush and going to use it for the first time today and was wondering how I was going to apply it.

I put it ontop of my foundation but I bought a nars cream blush its really light and I love it as a highlight

@ annmarie, I love that one!. I'm going to eventually get all the colors... I just such my cheeks n, draw a line. go back to my reg face lol, then I blend up into my cheek more. they are so nice.. I have the hot pink one and mauve (which shows a bit deep for me so I'll prob use only when dressing up doing a more dramatic look).. let me know how they work for you..

@Kelly, I used a flat powder brush, ita not a big brush. about the size of a blush brush and so far tthat's been best. but havent used my fingers. when I get a blush brush I'm going to try your method..

@Traci. I got nars pink illuminator. its so thin. I only swatched it tho. havent tested applying. any recommendations on how I should use it before I do..?

I've been putting the cream blush on top of my foundation too.
