Well there's lots of YouTubers out there and I'm going to tell you about my favorites! My absolute #1 favorite is Michelle Phan! She's the best at makeup! You should try and check out her page on YouTube! Another person you should look up on YouTube is MakeupByMandy24! She has great style, the best at makeup tutorials and she has lots of shopping hauls too!

Well considering you're new at this, I'd start out small. When I first started wearing makeup, all I wore was a bit of eyeliner. I think one thing that can really help you is practicing your makeup at home before bed! You can experiment with new techniques, colors, products, etc.without the worry of looking ridiculous. That's what I did for a long while before I started wearing it out. Depending on your age, I'd start out with only mascara and a bit if gloss if you're younger, or if you're older, I'd go with a light coverage foundation or bb cream and concealer, setting powder, and blush (applied with a light hand). Eye makeup in general is up to you, and whatever you feel comfortable wearing. One thing I'd suggest though is a primer. A primer to me really makes all the difference! Anyway, you can try out different products as you please. Sorry if this was a bit random and rambley! As far as specific product recommendations, for high end: Urban Decay shadows and primer (my absolute fav), MAC lipsticks (great variety), BareMinerals mascara (natural looking), Estee Lauder double wear (not light coverage but I love it). Drugstore: Wet n Wild eyeshadows (LOVE) and WnW MegaLast lipsticks (make sure your lips are smooth), I like Revlon Colorstay (again not light), Maybelline lipsticks are my drugstore favorites, etc! Yeah sorry for the long rambling post.

Products, definitely try Chanel. I love the foundation even if it is expensive. I only wear it to nice places cause it makes my skin look flawless. Eyes definitely any urban decay naked tablet. For brushed and lip stick get Mac. Really good quality. Over time you will find what works best with you. And if you want go to the mall and go to macys. Then go to the Mac place in the store they will do your make up and use what complements you best. And if they won't go to jcpennys and go to sephora they will to. Also do some shopping there. They have nice stuff. Another place I like is ulta!
