I've read that the shine is caused by spf in your face makeup. I don't wear any so I can't tell you firsthand, but thats what I've heard. hope I've helped :)

Smashbox makes a Photo Ready primer that helps you look better in photos. Makeup Forever's HD products also photograph really well. Besides this, like the other girls said, make sure to powder all the areas on your face you get oily!
