How do I keep my eyeliner from being too thick? I use liquid and it never looks smooth! How do I fix that?

Depends on the kind of liner you're using. try to use the very end of the brush or pen. I've had hard times with liquid liner too,it really just takes practice.

Maybe try to set it with the same color eyeshadow on an angled brush?

You need to use a gel or liquid eye liner with a very fine tip and velvet soft touch. To get the perfect winged look, like in your photo you can use scotch tape as an outline or look up tutorials on YouTube. Jaclyn hill has a great video on how to get he perfect winged look! 👌

About 6 months ago I couldn't do eyeliner for the life of me even now I have trouble but I've still had practice. It depends on the brush and your technique. Try smaller eyeliner liquid pens or felt tips. If it's a smaller nip that way you can build it up if you need too.
