I've been struggling with finding a perfect foundation and concealer for my oily skin and acne scars. I really want that clean soft matte look oppose to my constant oily shinny look I have to struggle with. I hate having to cake on more and more makeup to attempt to lessen the oily wet shine on my face. :(

Try Sonia kashuk quads for concealer. They come with different tints to cover and cancel out different blemishes. For foundation try revlon color stay for oily skin. The BEST powder is maybelline dream matte powder.

While a foundation and concealer can help, they aren't really going to help the root of the problem which is the oily skin. You should try an oil control lotion (I like Philosophy's and just about anything from Origins, but there are drugstore options as well) or a setting spray for oily skin like Urban Decay's De-Slick.Or even a primer. Even the highest end, most expensive products can't do their job if there's an underlying problem. I hope you find something that works :) I know how it is to have problem skin and to get frustrated and fed up with it.

Well what I do for my extremely oily face is:
Wash it before applying anything
Pat dry and moisturize, let it sink into your skin.
Prime with a mattifying primer, my fav pairing is Becca ever matte on my tzone and places where I get most oily and then nars primer all over. If I don't use these I use benefit porefessional or tarte brightening but they aren't really for mattifying.
Next is a matte/oil free foundation. I use Kat Von D lock it tattoo foundation, Estée Lauder double wear, loreal true match, covergirl 3 in 1, or mac studio fix. I do love the tarte airbrush powder foundation and it being a powder will be mattifying and it's full coverage.
If you aren't using a powder foundation, always set your liquid or cream foundations. I like rimmel stay matte, benefit stay flawless, sonia kashuk translucent, mac studio fix, or urban decay deslick.
Lastly, a setting powder. I like nyx matte setting spray, urban decay, model in a bottle is more heavy duty for special occasions.
I do not like to touch up through out the day and I've found this generally helps keep me matte most of he day at school or at a special event. I always take oil sheets and a powder and powder brush though. :)
