I have crazy thick cuticles on my toes & no matter how moisturised I keep them they're still so dry & thick! What is the best & easiest way to get rid of them? Pushing them back just makes them look worse since they're so thick. I do not like trimming them because it never fails Ill cut too much &/or I get infection. Anything any of you have tried & works please post. I'm open to anything!! Thanx so much<3.

No Haley I've not. I've actually been wanting to try the Sally H instant Cuticle remover Dorthe but didn't know if it works. Does it remove them with one application or is it a process that they slowly dissolve over time with use? Thanks ladies<3

I've been using the one Dorthe mentions for 10 years now. I lay it on thick, prop my feet up and read a magazine for about 10 minutes before removing. I use a wood (disposble) cuticle stick and gentle lift up loosened cuticles. You can find it at most drugstores, Walmart and Target. The sticks I mentioned...at Sally's Beauty Supply. Oh...and then after removal I soak my feet in a foot bath containing this concoction my husband made which has some antibacterial goodies in it. I don't like going to the salon to get pedicures after learning about all the nastiness about the footbaths in such salons. Yuck.

It works really well for me too. Just got it in December and I'm really bummed out that I didn't try it before! 😉

Thanx everyone<3 Shelley, you said after you use the cuticle cream you soak your feet. Do you think if I soaked my feet 1st the cuticle remover would work faster & be more efficient? & Claire, I've not heard of a Cuticle stone. I'm assuming it works in the same manner as a pumice stone does on callous (Sp?) Thanx again beauties<3

A Cuticle stone is not as abrasive as a pumice stone. It's a lot more gentle than Cuticle sticks and it's not sharp (rounded corners) for a easy Cuticle clean up. I use a reg moisturizer along with Cuticle stone dipped in water it Exfoliates cuticles gently. Sold at drug store beauty supply stores Any nail ailes.
Good luck I hope this helps you. :-)
