Hard to curl hair :(

Hey everyone!
I have super straight hair that I can never curl myself. It only curls if I get it done at a salon. I recently bought the new Conair Infiniti Pro Curling Iron and its a total miracle worker, and can actually get my hair to curl! But, my curls get really loose within an hour. Does anyone have the same problem? Do any of you have hair product suggestions that may help?
