Hey girls!
I'm in the last year of school, and really try to look half decent at school! But I have naturally frizzy curly hair, and I straighten it but by the time I'm at school (a good 3-4 mile walk) I'm hot and sweaty and my hair has started to curl/poof. Are there any tips to keep it straight? Or hairstyles that may look good whilst keeping it straight?
Thankyou!
Molly :)

Frizz is usually caused by dryness, so I suggest that you get a good leave in conditioner or hair mask, and do that while you're in the shower. Wash your hair first thing, apply the mask, and don't rinse it out until you're completely done with your shower :) that should help tame the frizz some. If you're brushing it while it's dry, that could be another reason. Go through your hair with a wide toothed comb while it's wet, not a hairbrush as that could break you hair because your hair is very delicate when wet. Aside from all that, I've found that using a good heat protector spray can help keep your hair straight as well. I like the Tressemme Thermal Creations :)

Or wear your hair natural(: I have natural curly hair too and I learned to love my natural hair.

Seriously curly hair looks Better curly and it takes less effort than trying to keep it straight. Also constantly straightening your hair damages it and makes it frizz more.
So deep condition and apply a light curling and try cute messy curly bun

John Frida and Paul Mitchell have the best products I think for curly hair. After these, your hair should be smooth and softer, not frizzy and the curls would look lovely, but if your set on straightened hair then these products paired with a Moroccan Oil treatment for hot-iron product will improve the life of your hair, and protect it. Assuming that you go to a professional hairdresser who it qualified to cut curly hair, ask them next time which product they have, or ingredients to look for tht will help.

Make sure you wash your hair then brush it while wet… that is what I do.
