What's the most economical and accurate way to condition dry ends in your hair?

Using a deep repair masque. Try Macadamia Natural Oil Masque. You'll notice a change in your hair the first use. You can get a sample pack for $5 @ Ulta before you get the regular size. You can also try Joico K Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor :)

What I do for mine is seal them with coconut oil after using a deep conditioner or masque. Works wonders for me and I have curly hair. My ends just love it.

Bumble & Bumble has a great deep conditioning masgue its a bit pricey but lasts a long time start at your ends then work it from the scalp down. or you can twirl the bottoms and snip the hairs that stick out if you dont want to trim it
