Quick question about the steam method for matte nails.

Do you usually do the nail color, steam, top coat, steam, or can you just paint your nails and top coat and stream at the end? hope that makes sense.

I have never done this, but I read that steam should be done in the end when the polish is still wet. I think it doesn't make sense steaming twice:-)
