Rylee what you said reminds me of a letter my brother got from his school about a Christmas party and it said 'girls no heels please' they are 10/11 years old! I sort of feel bad what I said about girls at my school with makeup it just annoys me how they sit in class like my pores are clogged up and my eyelashes are stuck together like they only have themselves to blame.

I say do whatever you want. I hate it when schools have rules against unnatural hair colors or makeup. I personally have worn black lipstick and smokey eyes to school and have had no issue. I even wore a long green wig once and again no issue. If you feel like wearing bright red eyeshadow do it. People who say girls who wear heavy makeup are "sluts" makes no sense to me.A girl should be able to do whatever she wants to her body without being judged by other girls. It's bad enough that the school makes the girls dress code revolve around if it distracts guys or not we shouldn't bash each other for wearing what we want and for what we want to put on our face that morning.

When your in high school (I'm a freshman) I don't think it should matter what makeup you wear. Express yourself however you feel the need to! (: I see girls wearing falsies to school everyday and it doesn't bug me at all. Middle schoolers going all out doesn't bug me at all either though. Life is short... (: Pageant moms putting makeup on their very young daughters bugs me a little though.

In middle school I only wore mascara and little eyeliner, concealer if I had blemishes, and I used powder for my shiny nose. But I'm a senior now and I do whatever makeup I want. A lot of the girls in my school don't even wear makeup, fix their hair, and wear pajamas. I really don't care, if they want to that, its whatever idc, but I always wear makeup and fix my hair, I don't ever dress up though unless we have something going on. But makeup and hair make me feel better about myself, and I think that is what is important. Makeup seriously has a calming effect for me lol when I'm stressed out or upset I do my makeup and it seriously helps calms me down, because it distracts me from being upset. So people can judge me for always having on makeup or think that I wear too much but I love it so I think thats all it really matters. I would die if my school had makeup rules because makeup lets me show my creativity

My highschool days are waaayyyy behind me but where I went to school we were more focused on what we wore versus makeup. I rarely wore it because I was a student athlete and when I did everyone made a big deal out of it.Not in a negative way but the attention was a little overwhelming and distracting. We had no rules in regards to makeup but now they have makeup guidelines in place. It has now become a problem apparently.

No make up was allowed in our school and I really didn't care, as I never wore make up other than to perform at my dance shows. But most of the girls wore a little lipgloss and mascara from time to time. Its so humid and hot in Thailand the stuff just melts off!!

I think you should wear whatever makes you comfortable. If that means no makeup, great. If it means wearing bright colorful makeup, fantastic. If you wanna switch between a dramatic and natural application, well, that's cool too. Makeup is a fantastic way to express yourself and feel more confident. It's none of my concern what someone does (or doesn't) put on their face.
