Although they are cheaper, I really have been liking shany cosmetics brushes. Another good brand is Sonia kashuk.

My top brushes are my bareMinerals, Shany Cosmetics, and my Lancome brushes.

Real Techniques are my favorites ever. I use them almost exclusively. They only have a couple sets and then there's a lot more for individual purchase. I have the core collection (face brushes), the starter set (eye brushes) and the travel set (two face brushes and an eye brush) as well as the expert face brush, the powder brush, the miracle complexion sponge, fine liner brushes, shading brush and the setting brush. Can you tell I love them? lol. They're very durable, so versatile - you can use just about any brush for a variety of things. For example the deluxe crease brush is in the starter set but I use it for concealer and it's great. I wish they sold it individually because it works very well for the eyes too but I can't ever seem to keep it free of concealer lol. Overall I love them! They've never disappointed me and I'm definitely going to buy duplicates of them all to keep in my professional kit when I have money one day.
