So in search if a silver microfine glitter top coat. I purchased one from Revlon and from Essie. Used it last night over a platinum nail color. Both topcoats were very thick, which maybe that is normal but I don't like the way my nails look. I'm a beginner so please give any feedback on application or a better product.

I have one by Orly that is extremely fine and goes on in a nice thin layer. the name of it is cut the cake.

It was really thick and nails looked like they do when you put a coat on that is too thick and too soon and makes nail polish look bubbly? Drag marks which could be an error on my part or the brush. I hope I explained it, I've never posted pics on here before but I'll try to snap one now. Thanks so much for your reply and if you can recommend a nice micro fine silver in a clear base or any other tips I would appreciate it. Thsnks again!

Be sure to let each coat if polish dry very well before applying another coat. Use the three swipe method to help cut down on streaking. Also if you use a glitter polish it's good to have a good top coat to help it look smoother. I have tried ALOT if top coats but I keep going back to sally Hansen everytime, the one in the silver bottle is my fave.

Pretty! I used Seche Vite and I usually use Sally Hansen. I took me almost 30 minutes to get the polish off today!

I hate dealing with glitter polish for that reason. I did recently find the most beautiful Essie glitter polish I have ever seen and I am kicking my own ass for not buying it. I think I will go to Ulta tomorrow and pray they still have it.
