I also must divulge that I did wash my hair with WEN Cleansing Conditioner & used a 3min repair mask prior to using the brush. And then applied my Moroccan oil after brushing my hair out.

It comes in different colors too. My WET brush is hot pink & my SHINE brush is purple.

I got the wet brush and another one that is round (same brand) mine are like green and I love them, I use the flat oval one on my daughters long hair and it works great.

I will keep you all updated on the Shine Brush. But since my hair is naturally wavy, I don't usually brush it til about 2 days after I wash it. My hair is very dry & wavy so I try not to disturb it until it gets a little unruly. And I only wash it once a week.

I love this brush! It has been a life saver for kids with long knotty hair. we sell them at my salon like crazy. my boyfriend also uses it...he has long, Jesus like hair and refuses to use "the dry brush " (a regular vent brush) on his hair.

Ok I tried the Shine Brush today on dry hair. And honestly, it didnt perform better than the original Wet Brush or my old vent brush as far as brushing through my hair smoothly. Now the Wet brush looks like it has nylon bristles. And my vent brush has wider set plastic bristles. The Shine Brush has nylon and boar bristles. I'm guessing its the boar bristles thats causing the brush to drag. Conclusion: Even though the Shine brush doesn't brush through my hair as easy as the others the difference is slight. But why use the inferior brush if I have slightly better ones? Because, the Shine brush DOES actually add shine! Not crazy shine. but I do notice a difference. It does make my mane look better. So, its a keeper!

Marleen, thanks for the review! I was wondering about the shine brush. boar bristles are good with distributing the scalps natural oils. I may have to buy this one too.
