Dude, I feel you haha. I try to wash mine every week, but I give up after what seems like a hour of trying to get all the product out. I can never get my foundation brush totally clean! It looks nice on the outside but if I squeeze it, there's always leftover foundation coming out. I'm too impatient for hygiene apparently, lol.

Foundation brushes are the WORSTT!
I find the best way to clean them is to get all the hair super wet, and then put a HEAP of baby shampoo (I use the conditioning version so it's not as drying) and then lather it all up, wash it out, and repeat!
Otherwise there is still a heap of foundation in it!
Hahaha

I try to wash my foundation brush once a week so I don't stress out when I can't get all the foundation out but of course I never actually do it every week and it never is fully clean.

I love washing my brushes, it's so therapeutic!
unless it's after like a 16 hour day then no... I hate it

Hate it and they are FILTHY as we speak! I don't even have that many. I've tried reg shampoo, baby shampoo, dish soap and olive oil, you name it, didn't work. I'm just going to skip all that and get professional brush cleaners...eventually.

How can olive oil not work?
most cleansers are oil based because it breaks down the product that's stuck in the hairs, if anything should work it's that.
I prefer olive oil to any cleanser I've used, it hydrates the hairs and doesn't dry them out like most strong brush cleaners do.

I don't know why? ^ I love olive oil too, maybe I've used too much in the past and it left a residue, but not in a conditioning way.

Do you mix it together with an antibacterial soap?
