@Hannah you should totally go! It's so fun and you get amazing deals. The naked jars can be used dry, wet, and with primer. They are like pigments depending in how they are used but they come in so many colors and they're really smooth.
@Lily I spent about $300 but I did the math and if not for the discounts, it would have been over 400.
@Laney you're going to love it! Make sure you take snacks and water, wipes for your hands because you'll be searching like crazy lol and cash and credit. Places like mac only accepted cards. Weird but it caught me a bit off guard. Cash is so simple and fast for the other booths too.

Well there were some more known companies like sigma, naimes had lime crime and other products you can find at sephora, and sugar pill, but those lines were insane. Some people stood in line for hours. Not worth it to me lol. But other brands like morphe, kraylon, and naked cosmetics were there. You can go next year or this year depending on where you live :)

I live in Miami, actually, and I'm in college so I'm not really in an ideal area to be going...but I'm a big online shopper so I figure if I'm really craving some Limecrime or something I'll just go to their website.

I understand. I live in LA and I go to shop in Pasadena quite often, so imats being not too far is pretty ideal haha. I realize I am lucky for that. But I know a lot of people fly in for it, and that may seem kind of extreme for a lot of people, but worth it too. If you're ever in the area during the time, I'd recommend going :)

Nah, I'd fly for it! I'm worried about my schoolwork haha I'd get nothing done if I got to play with makeup all day every day for a whole weekend.

Haha! I can back that theory up. I had the three day weekend for work and I'm doing it now. But I'd much rather be playing with my new stuff lol.
And to be honest, I'd fly in as well! And in my opinion, the LA one had a better line up than the NY one. Also, the face off contestants were there! And there was a sfx museum in the back with a free live sculpting class going on.

I'm taking my mom to IMATS in New York in 2016 I can't wait! I've been teaching my mom about makeup and she loves it! So I'm taking her and going to pay for her ticket too :)
