There's concealer to cover blemish and dark under eye , a primer or moisturizer to put foundation over smoothly and make it long lasting and finishing powder to keep your makeup fresh. Highlighting to like brightness to areas you want full attention to and contouring is to make your face look slimmer.

You have primer which you put on your face first to even it out and then you put on foundation. Currently I'm using smashbox foundation which I absolutely love. It's oil free and gives a very natural look. I also use concealer to cover up any blotchy/darkness under my eyes, I use smashboxs' concealer for that. I like to fill in my eyebrows to make my eyebrows stand out and smashbox have eyebrow shadow which is really good. You get two different colours so you can have them a light, dark or a mix and then you also get some wax to keep the colour and your brows in place. I personally think it's better than using a pencil to fill in the brows. As you can see I'm very in love with smashboxes collection and definitely recommend :) slightly pricey though. If you want to go for a cheaper version I recommend rimmels foundation which you can find in almost any drugstore. Hope this has helped :)
