I want to get true match foundation but don't know if I'm cool, neutral, or warm. how can I tell?

Do you like wearing metal jewelry? Gold=warm/yellowy.
Silver=cool/pinky
Rose gold or mixed=neutral.
Or do most of your veins seem greenish or purple or mixed/blue? Those correspond to tone in the same order.

Also, if it's hard to tell, you might be neutral. I had trouble determining my undertones when I first started out with makeup because I fit into some categories for cool and some for warm. I later learned I was a but of both. Luckily for me, I can pull off both as long as o get a proper color match :)

Blue and purple means cool

More greeny blues are neutral

And green to brown are warm

Everything Betsy N said is I think the way.. I also heard like how you tan and all like of you get burned or a little red in the beginning cool if you instantly tan warm but that doesn't sound as accurate but makes sense..
