Colorful dye, without bleach? Will it?

If I try using a colorful dye, whiteout bleach, it will just tint my hair that color? If not , what will it do? I don't want to damage my hair anymore than the dye will! Help!

That's normally what it will do, since your hair isn't super dark or super light.

And dye isn't NEARLY as damaging to your hair as bleach is, though it may damage some.

I've done this before and yes it will only tint it. It's more noticeable once you go in the sun.

Depending your hair color, it will probably just tint it or make it so that it only shows in certain light. I think you'll look great with a purple cause it will be subtle cause of your dark hair.

I did it before and my hair was a dark brown, it came out pretty good!
