Your natural hair color looks beautiful

I also think you look beautiful as a brunette, but I love the red/orange on you! It makes you look so vibrant and I makes you stand out!

Keep the color!! Put a dark blue on and once that fades the turquoise will look fab! It's really hard going from one color to its almost opposite with perfect results.

I'm just thinking more because of the damage it is causing.

I say do what you feel is best. If you want to go back natural do it. You are totally beautiful regardless of the color of your hair =)

I do crazy color in my hair too but every once in awhile I go "natural" for a bit just to let my hair recover :)

Well I definitely feel that when ny hair is natural I don't feel like myself lol. its weird but I feel like my style is definitely out there compared to a lot of the ppl around here. I just get a little annoyed, especially at work because all ppl ask me about is my hair and I'm like god damn, I'm more than hair, like I do have other things I can talk about lol...just frustrated.

Looks pretty the natural brown. but where you work if its more business like then go with brown. if its more artsy then stay with the red color.

I'm a line leader in a factory where we make beauty products. I'm in charge of the ppl who work on my line...its a big business, like 900 employees and every single day I can't count the amount of ppl coming up to me saying omg your hair is going to fall out, omg why are you always changing your hair, why don't you keep your natural color, I don't like that on you...but like who gives a f*ck lol. its so irritating...like some ppl I don't even know feel the need to come tell me what they think of how I look. ridiculous. I have lots of tattoos and wear combat boots to work since they are steel toe lol..ppl don't get it, that's fine but you know, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. the only reason I was thinking of going natural was because I don't want to have my super thick hair eventually become thin from so much coloring and whatnot, not because of what ppl think. it is just very irritating.

It's true that a lot of coloring can be damaging to your hair, but I don't think you should let other ppl decide whether to dye it or not. Your hair - your decision. Either way you look fab, hun 😉

Erica honey, people are going to have something to say if you have "natural" hair or wild hair. doesn't seem to matter. I figure might as well feel like you and do what suits your personality and forget them. I've actually told people that I'm more than just hair.. shuts them up pretty fast! I've just gotten to the age that I don't care what others think, I am me!
I love your orange and I think you are one of those rare people that looks best in vibrant colours. you can pull of any colour. maybe do a bright colour and let it fade out a lot longer.. the bleaching is the damaging part.. let it grow out more in between? when I had the Mohawk, I grew it out for 3-6 months to save on damage. and dyed dark colours with splat or special effects. you can get colours that will go over dark hair. it is not as loud, but its colour.
yes, less people might have something to say if your hair wasn't loud.. but would you feel like "you"?

Shushoni, I know what you are saying...and no I don't feel like "me" with regular brown hair, or just plain blonde or whatever. I don't typically care what ppl think, but like you said, wish theyd just shut up lol. ppl are closed minded a lot of the time. I love tattoos and piercings and edgy style. I love leather and little metal studs and spikes but am still a girly girl. I am obsessed with make up and even love 1950's pin up but with more of a rocker edge lol. we don't necessarily care what ppl think but deep down when ppl are always questioning your choices as to how you look you kind of get offended...like I don't go to them and say so you don't like hair or tattoos, well I don't like how you look just like everybody else...you know, the ppl who wear sweat suits on there days off from work will say ugh, why do you get so dressed up on your days off lol...I have to look like a troll half of my life at work, I don't need to when I'm not lol. at work we can't wear ANY make up, need to wear hair nets, steel toe shoes or boots, have to wear a smock that is to our knees, gloves, glasses, and can't even roll up our sleeves. now wouldn't you just love to look like that if you didn't have to. I feel like everyone around here is so judgemental because they are so damn scared of anything different. I know that is everywhere and you can't change ppl but damn. but ill do what you said, I'm going to keep my bleached hair and have her put a toner in later today. I'm having my ends trimmed at five. ill just let the roots grow longer in between. you guys are truly very sweet and I appreciate all you have to say. I feel as tho the ppl and you girls that I talk to on here understand me better than most ppl I know in real life lol. I guess we are all here anyway because we share the same passions and interests as each other. I'm glad to know you.

You my dear are so smart!! I hear you, I get you and yes.. it bothers me too. I'm usually stronger for others. however I'm just plain tired of other people trying to direct my life through having something to say about my looks. I love everything about a person who dares to go against the grain in their looks. I have tried looking what society calls "normal" I have tried no makeup and sweats.. doesn't matter, I stand out anyway.. so might as well like who I am and do what I feel. thankfully my work and school allow and quite frankly encourage my loud looks, style, makeup..
imagine those poor people stuck inside their boxes, terrified to move.. poor them, what will they experience in life? will they ever get to be themselves? do they know they are oppressed? no, they just think it is ok to tell you what you "should" be doing with your life.
don't worry so much about "not supposed to"
if I had it my way, neon colours would grow out of my head and tattoos would be a right of passage. in my "tribe" the abnormal people are the ones without piercings, tattoos and wild hair! lol
it is good to talk it out when it gets to you.. just focus on who you are.

I've always seemed to be different especially where I live. My favorite color is black, so I wore a lot of it. I don't have boobs so I never wore bras in school, still don't (got teased for it).. I'm called "rainbow" at my local gas station (doesn't bother me). People will always be judgmental and many times hurtful. I've been teased all my life for one thing or another. But I always tried to stay true to myself and do what I wanted for me, and not conform to what others thought. I say if you like your colorful hair keep it. I do agree with not doing anything to it since you just put it through hell.. But I say continue doing your own thing. You're beautiful and the style you described is an awesome style! I'm waiting (impatiently) for my leather pants to come in =) anyway rock on girl!!

I see you put the toner on your hair so I assume you're keeping the blonde, and I really like it! But...
Erica, I think you should do whatever feels good right now. Maybe right now you need a quiet moment, you know? If brown hair is what you feel like would make you happy, then do that!
If thats not what would make YOU happy though, and you just think it would be easier, I don't think it's the right path. You will never connect with those people and that's OK. Make yourself happy, get good at the smile and nod, I also have gotten good at "oh, ok" and "I understand" as my replies when people say dumb stuff to me. I could care less at this point, say your little bit, I will smile and nod, and then turn and do what I'm going to do. The advice "you do you, and I'll do me" would go far for a lot of people out there, amirite?
Hugs!

First of all, you rock the heck out of every single color!
I had been in the same situation as you in the past-loved "different" hair colors, but the damage was bumming me out. I would try natural and low maintenance colors and it would really upset me because I didn't feel like myself at all! Style and self expression is so important to me, so I sucked it up and went back to my high maintenance, ever-changing hair color selection and I couldn't be happier. I really REALLY loved how long, shiny, and healthy my hair was when I quit bleaching the life out of it, but I was never excited about my hair and how it made me feel. That was a million times more important to me. Some days I do sit there and wonder how much easier everything would be if I went back to a low-maintenance color like my natural color, but I always come to the conclusion that it isn't worth it. So of course I say go with what makes YOU happy, not what others are comfortable with or what may be easier.
