I plan on getting one before summer when I get to my goal weight! Or close! I've heard they get infected easily but that they don't hurt much even for people with a low pain tolerance! Just keep it clean!

I used to have one (it was crooked because my cousin and I decided to do it ourselves. I do not recommend that haha.) and it didn't hurt at all. I've heard the worst part is the clamp they use before the piercing. Of course, your piercer will give you all the nitty gritty about how to clean it and care for it. I will say, it was tender for a few days (maybe a week?), so don't wear tight clothing during that time. Hmm... that's about all I can think of right now. If you have any other questions feel free to ask! :)

I got mine done and the best advice I can give is expect as much pain as you possibly can! When I say this I don't mean it hurts ridiculously bad- mine hurt for a few seconds and then my piercer put cold water on it and I was fine. But if you expect a lot of pain I find that it hurts a lot less when it actually happens if that makes sense haha. It's sore for a few days after but my main problem was it rubbing my clothes. But I love it :)

It doesn't hurt at all. it might be a lil sore though the next couple days. mine didn't get infected at all I just sprayed it twice a day with sea salt. I had it for a year then got pregnant, kept it off for about a year and 6 months then put it back in, then lost the ring.

I agree with everyone above. I have mine done and it did hurt, but it's over quick. The clamp really is the most painful part. I cannot stress the importance of cleaning it EXACTLY how and how often your piercer tells you to. I got mine in June, and didn't change it till August, I believe. Usually 2-3 months. But keep in mind it's not done heeling till at least 6 months. Maybe more. I feel like mine FINALLY is "normal" if that makes sense? I also had a few close calls, like pulling it by getting caught on my shirt. It actually stretched out both sides of the hole and it was bleeding. But I kept the jewelry in and cleaned it thoroughly, so it healed. Just be careful! They close up unbelievably fast too. Mine fell out in the shower and by the time I got out, it was really hard to put it back in. So keep all these tips in mind and you'll be fine. 😘
