When I try do my moms makeup I have the same problem. but what I found is that you should keep the eye makeup simpler than you normally would (what you did is really good, maybe add some lighter shadow to inner corners and white eyeliner to waterline). this is so that it adds some brightness while also diverting attention from wrinkles.also work on filling in the brows. the thicker the brows= the more youthful she will look. also eyebrows help transform the face to make it more framed and symmetrical.
perhaps try adding more foundation to redder areas (cheeks and nose and chin) and I think you should avoid using blush. perhaps a pink hued bronzer?
also what I think will make a big change is if you work on concealing the inner corner eye area. I notice that she has a protruding crease, so perhaps you should avoid applying eyeshadow there and instead use more under-eyebrow highlight. I hope I helped and all this is based on my experience doing my moms makeup :) goodluck!
