I'm trying to break the same habit. what I've been doing is painting my nails everything they chip. if they chip I tend to bite them, if they look nice I won't. also if I take time and make a design I'm less likely to. they do also make anti bite which is disgusting.

Hav bful mani pics evry wer. mobile wal paper near your bed... study table... it will keep remindin you not to bite... I broke this habit like this...

Essie makes a special clear polish called bitter nails and when you bite them your nails they taste bitter

Where I live there's this clear nail polish that is bitter to make kids stop biting there nails if you do some research you will probably find that they are a lot of them all over. good luck :)
