@Naomi...I used a mix of two...a lighter blue blended out with a brown eyeshadow that had a purple/brown undertone. I was so frustrated because I used to do this look with no problem but for some reason I was facing some issues.

@Jackie...when I saw that you responded I was looking forward to a lesson on what I could do to correct my smokey eye. The purple/brown shadow was totally out of left field as I never reached for it before when doing this smokey blue eye. And my lower lash line received no love as my beloved liner brushes were MIA. So at the end I was not happy with the end result. Your beautiful compliment is what reduced me to tears. Happy tears.To be seen as one with classic elegance and to be viewed as an ideal image for Bobbi Brown's makeup philosophy made me smile. For one I love Bobbi Brown and her line...most of my collection is BB. Plus, I've been told by family members that I resemble my grandmother who was the queen of classic elegance. She was nicknamed the black Jackie Kennedy in regards to her style of dress,makeup and hair. She even wore big lens sunglasses like Jackie O. If my grandmother was still alive she would love Bobbi Brown's line as she believed in highlighting one feature by keeping it simple. There is a lot more I could say to express how your response made me feel but as I stated earlier I was reduced to happy tears and I can barely see. Thank you soo much for your sweet words. I will hold them so close to my heart. :)
