Heya everyone, I'm looking for a nice mattifying translucent powder. I'm looking for one that doesn't have flashback or give you a white/ashy look, also I have a very uneven skin surface (despite various treatments etc) so it would need to be quite fine! I've heard the MUFE HD translucent powder is lovely, but then I heard the flashback on it was ridiculous? If anyone could suggest anything that's available in the uk I'd be really grateful. Thanks! x

Um I have rice powder from Palladio. It's very soft and translucent. I got it for about $5 at Ulta but you can find it at Sally's too. I've never noticed any flashback and it makes my oily skin pretty matte on normal days.

I really like ud's deslick powder. it's rice based instead of silica and it's very fine.

Elf makes a lovely one! I have had no problem with flashback. It is a pressed powder, but it is very fine, and blends right into your face with little effort. And the biggest plus side, its inexpensive. I'll pretty sure its available in the uk.

If you want to avoid flashback, check the ingredients. Mica is the mineral that causes the ghost face. Aside from that, the MUFE loose setting powder is literally the same as the Elf setting powder, down to every last ingredient. I've had great luck with MUFE, Tarte, Urban Decay, Nars...all are great. I'd also check out the Coty Airspun loose powder (available at CVS). I hear it's great, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
