I've heard of this but it was to get rid of lice. It will make your hair silky afterwards.

Yes its true. I did it before and it really made my hair soft. it might smell gross but it will go away lol.

My mother used to do it when she was a teenager. She told me it gave her shiny silky hair (not overly shiny though). I personally haven't done it because I HATE mayo...just the thought of it makes me cringe lol.
