I usually do more natural looks, but I want to try a smokey eye. Any tips you could give me?

Blend ,blend ,blend! But don't over blend! Try to keep the color on the eyelid, then smoke it out from there! Apply some eyeshadow in the bottom lash line too to add to that smokey look!

Also, look up Robert Jones, a professional makeup artist with his own makeup academy! He taught me how to do one , and it can out close to perfect! This is the one I did the other day using his tutorial as a guideline!

The simplest way is with 2 colors, also I recommend starting with a color that isn't black. Black gets messy and icky quick and if you mess up it can leave a grey shadow on your lids.

I'd recommend a plum or dark brown, apply all over the lid, then using a lighter color in the same family on a blending brush blend out the harsh color :)
