So I'm just posting both of my questions in one thread, maybe I can get help today.
My first question was how do you apply baked eyeshadow?? I have 2 colors and don't know how to apply it (get it off the brush to my eyelid).
My 2nd question was.. Sephora brand lipstick, I have 2 colors picked out.. #41 Idol and #44 Club Scene. I'd like opinions in case I only end up getting one. (which would look best on me).. Tyvm to whoever helps me

Hey Michele, Sephora I can't help you with.
The eyeshadow you can apply wet and dry. If you make your brush a bid wet then apply on your eyelid, this will make the color very intense! You can also use it dry. If it doesn't come of your brush you are using the wrong type of brush. A brush with natural hair will work better than a synthetic one. Good luck hun ;*

Ty.. I use elf brushes. I bought a nice set but the eyeshadow brush, no shadow came off the brush so I brought it back

If it's a good brush and you make it a bid wet it have to work fine. Good thing you brought it back! Do you think the eyeshadow is good? Some shadows are just wack haha.

I'll try wetting the brush.. I'll probably do it within the next few days since I'm doing the instagram makeup challenge for the month and one of the days happens to be "all red everything"

Ok michele, I just looked at those sephora colors online and they're both fab but I personally like #44 the best. It would look super cute on you.

I honestly think the sephora lipsticks are just as good or better than Mac. I'm not a disciple of mac anyway though. Its a good line but a bit overrated in my opinion.

I've never had any trouble with baked shadows. Actually, they always have worked better for me. They do go on way more pigmented if you wet your brush just a tad w/ something like a setting spray. Like Fix + or I have just used eye drops or saline solution since its actually made for the eyes & I know I won't have any reaction to it. I have very sensitive eyes/skin! You know, I'm noticing that your topic is posted under beauty. Maybe that's why ppl haven't answered you? I wouldn't of seen it if I had not been looking for something from earlier that's out of the (popular) heading or whatever you call it, I've been up ALL night again & its 11:13am so I'm stupified right now!! Just a thought though? What brand is the eyeshadow? Some of the drugstore brands are just a flop! I should know! Its all I've ever used. Lol.. I hope it works out for you!! Oh, one more thing.. the E.L.F. brushes. ONLY get the professional sets cause the regular ones are terribly scratchy! This is how much so.. This is noooo joke! I even showed this happened to my husband! My blush brush I "had" I didn't even need to put any blush on it to turn my cheek blood red it was so harsh!! A good inexpensive drugstore mu brush is by Eco Tools! They're super soft & eco friendly!!

Sally is the brand.. I'm thinking of getting a set of the eco.. I looked on sephora and found some but I'd rather get my brushes where I can touch them.. Next time I'll post under makeup.

You know Lisa I never would have thought of using saline solution, but I can see why after you said it. When I got my nipples pierced I had to use some. I thought it was odd at the time but I understand why.. If it's safe enough to put in your eyes then it's safe for piercings.
