If you permed an colored it the same day or to close together that would be the reason you can try deep conditioner and hair mask and try keeping heat out of your hair and getting a trim ,you can try monoi hair repair mask by carols daughter and the whole line of hair care is great to repair and hydrate damaged hair

Delight pushing the stuff lmao I so got a crack out of the double post. Tamara if you have naturally curly hair doll, why would you think a perm would straighten it? I believe they actually make straightening stuff like the perm stuff.. There's always flat iron. =) I don't mean anytime soon of course lol.. I've been using aussie 3 minute deep conditioner since I bleached my hair 3 times then dyed it blue =)

Repair products and avoid heat styling as much as possible. It will help to get a little off the ends of your hair as they will likely knot up and make your hair difficult to style. Protein and keratin or Moroccan oil treatments are good. Also a good comb or brush that won't yank at your fragile hair. Tangle teaser's are good x

I bet you look beautiful with curly hair!! With Indian & the tropical islands in your blood I'm sure your hair is gorg natural!! Might wanna try embracing your natural curl! I'm biracial & for years & years I fought my curls tooth & nail until recently. Why? Simply because I had NO IDEA how to care for my hair! My family (including my mother) was not so accepting of my father & of course my mothers side are the caucasians! So he or any of his family was NEVER around me! So I had NO hair advice & the products they use well, you know how that went! Actually I still don't know exactly what to use! I just know that moisture is my hairs bff & I need LOTS of it!! I actually need to start talking with some of the ladies on here on what to do to get those nice hydrated defined curls<3 So I do know that any chemicals or heat styling is the worst for hair that's already so dry & fragile but you have a plus in this...that beautiful, soft Cherokee hair!! Indians have the absolute best hair on earth! Your very blessed there<3 I hope you find something that helps soon sweety<3
