I wouldn't go with a poofy dress, I don't think it would look that good.

For hair I think you should do something with curls.
Big sexy curls would look good :)
Depends on the color though and what style you want. If you go with red, black or a dark purple I think you should do big sexy curls. This would be if you want to go with a sexy style
If you go with a pink, light blue, coral, or any soft color. I think you should do tighter curls pulled to the side :) , this is for if you want a cute style
Either way it would make you look amazing ;)
For makeup it depends on the color and the style you want :)

I think brown hair and brown eyes goes gorgeously with warm tone dresses (eg. red, dark green, all those earthy tones). I would style that with smokey eyes. I normally use my naked palette for those kinds of things but this time do an overly dramatic smokey eye.

Honestly I think you would look amazing in a mermaid gown! But if you really dot want that, I would go for more of a princess gown ;)! Those look great on everyone! But you seriously would rock the mermaid gown! TRUST ME!
