Cystic acne cure

A few months ago, due to some hormone issues I broke out into a million angry, red painful cystic acne o. My cheeks and jaws. This was the first time in my life that I broke out and it affected my self esteem so so badly. After trying a thousand remedies and spending hundreds of dollars I took a chemist's advice at guardian and bought me a tube of benzoyl peroxide 10. Initially my Skin was dry and flaky and red for a month but after three months they are all gone. There's still some bumps and scars but it is not so bad. Just wanted to share this Incase there's more people out there going through the same shame and pain as I did.

Tamara the lipstick is stilla all day liquid lipstick in beso. I can't live without this one! It's so great, stays all day, matte and doesn't feather even if I eat oily food :D.

Sree I'm so happy for you and feel your distress as I too underwent the same skin problems a few years back. I also used benzoyl to dry them out but what also worked wonders for me (still does) is this face wash its called Cetaphil and also using a good acne blocking moisturizer after. havent broke out since. just thought I'd share that with you. also make sure your drinking plenty water.

Yanet, thanks a ton! I use the Cetaphil cleanser but not the face wash. And I use a oil free gel moisturizer. Do you know of any good acne blocking moisturizer?

I have used evening primrose capsules in the past for hormonal acne & PMS. It worked really great for my cystic acne but, I usually only get one Now & again.
