Exotic make up colors & using them?

So every palette has those crazy blues yellows and all of that. Can someone suggest ways to use the colors you normally wouldn't use? I'm more of a neutral kinda shadow girl.

I know up different makeup ideas and try them out to see if I like it. Try Instagram, the ideas usually are really cool.
