Noo! It's very strong as you said, and it's not really good to put on your whole face. ( if you have acne on your wholr face, sure, then do it!)
It makes the bacteries spread slower, it antibacterial.

It's an astrigent, if you have oily skin with no sensitivity it's safe to use as a toner :) for any other skin type though it would be too drying, also do not use if you've sensitive skin!

I swear by this too! I usually put it on as I finish up in the shower, water + tea tree oil = clear skin! Woo lol.

In the past I put it all over. As long as you put moisturizer on it I don't think it would be irritating. But if you don't have widespread spots you could also just do it where needed. But if you need it all over I think you could make it work :) just be sure to moisturize in addition to it.
