How do you keep your eyelashes curled?

My issue is once I curl my eyelashes and put on mascara, they go back to its original state. I have long, thin lashes. I've tried applying mascara to the tips instead of starting from the lash line thinking this maybe weighing down the curled effect, but no luck. Any suggestions??

try a heated eyelash curler which works with mascara. curling mascaras can also be helpful such as Urban Decay Super curl it has polymers that help curl the lashes
