I just joined the online makeup classes at Robert Jones academy. its been reccomended on here but I was hoping others out there have taken the courses. I just am curious how you liked it? did you feel it helped your makeup skills in person? also...does anyone know if that certification alone will allow me to get Mac pro card, and other pro memberships?

I have the Robert Jones beauty academy YouTube app and I've watched all the videos on there over and over. I only use it for doing my own makeup so I don't know about any of the pro stuff but it had REALLY helped me. I almost always mimic his style when I do eyeshadow and I get tons of compliments when I'm out an about. I'm seriously addicted to YouTube and I watch videos from at least a dozen different channels but I have to say that Robert Jones definitely influenced me the most.

I love your eye makeup in your profile pics, dawn, so you're a great student;) he does the makeup (or at least used to) for Mary Kay cosmetics and the man is a sorcerer. Of course, lighting helps, too:)

The app should be searchable in the App Store. it was free when I got it. I'm not sure if they have it for android or not but it looks like this
