Well you can use powder and pencil. Try putting powder where your sparse areas are and then using pencil for your arch and to make them more precise. Also, a little clear brow gel can really make your brows look put together and perfect :) I use all Anastasia Beverly Hills products and they're really worth it! But if you only wanted the necessities, I'd try the brow wiz and clear brow gel :) lastly, it takes practice, don't get discouraged if you don't think they come out perfect the first time. It's taken me about a year to get my brow routine down and I still have days where I give up and just let them be lol.

Yeah it's kind of pricey but they last a while.
Brow wiz $21 - it's retractable and is good for a precise application.
If not you can try other drugstore brow products :)
Clear brow gel $22 - I haven't found one as good as this one, it's like hair spray on the brows and it looks natural lol. It's great for me because I have crazy, long haired brows. I tried the maybelline clear mascara to see if it was a decent replacement for my Anastasia and it's okay. I went back to the ABH though haha.

Where can you find this?

I don't know if you can still find it... but basically any MATTE eyeshadow or brow powder does the trick... justo don't choose a very dark shade because that can look way too harsh.

I use an NYX liner and then I use an angle brush to blend it, finally I set it with a matte eyeshadow.. I have really thick and naturally dark eyebrows so I just fill in the little gaps. It's simple, affordable, and it works great! You don't have to spend a bunch of money on something that can be done so simply.
