I think it was benefit who had a contest not too long ago about sharing your beauty uh ohs on fb.
Things like where a girls eyelash fell into her soup while on a date 😂
I was just wondering if any of you had any funny beauty related mishaps that you'd like to share :)

Uhhh, once I was making out with my high school boyfriend, and I had lipstick on...we were at his house, so when we went to leave he washed it all off his face. Then we went to say bye to his mom, and she goes, "seriously, you couldn't even hide it?" And my lipstick was in a huge smudge over the side of his neck and neither of us noticed because of his collar! I wanted to sink into the floor...

Idk about benefit, I know it was ulta on my fb who was doing it and the winner got a gift card xD
lets see...
My brows grow a lot, so when I was little my mom is really strict, she wouldnt let me get my brows done... all I wanted was to have them cleaned up, I had a uni brow lol.
so instead I took my dads nose hair trimmer... oh yeah a 11 year old and a nose hair trimmer don't go well together lol. people were always commenting about my horribly shaped eye brows.
another beauty mistake was the stupid tooth paste mix, I was like 14 and I read that some uneducated moron said you could basically slaughter it all over your face and it would help pimples.
and my naive self did that... and I left it on all day, my skin was so dry that you could see it a mile away, whatever little pimples I had were a lot worse and irritated lol. it was so bad my friend just straight up gave me her acne medication lmao.
hmmm my hair, lets just say I got a hair cut so bad with bangs so short people would describe it as 'elvis hair' it didnt help that my hair was chemically processed, and I never bothered to straighten it with an iron cause for my hair a blow dryer is nowhere near anough, so just imagine hair that was dry damaged and puffed up like I got shot by electricity in some elvis hair style. it was so burnt out you could see it in my school pics lol.
using depilatory creams on my brow, I'm pretty sure I burned off a layer of skin. this is why i cry when i get my eyebrows threaded, I should have never listened to my aunt. lol

Can't even lie, I have made a few.
Before I really understood contouring I bought a super cheap liquidy dark foundation to try and contour with. The product would've worked except I smeared it all over my face instead of blending it in the appropriate areas. Lets just say I didn't have time to take it off and I spent the day getting offended looks from my serious blackface. I am also the least racist person so I felt awful.
I also tried using a deep, almost black eyeshadow with glitter in it to fill in my eyebrows before I got the right products. I have light brown hair, yikes.
Last I will share before embarrassing myself to hard, I tried using a nude eyeshadow as foundation before I had any. I was 12 and went to school looking cakey, powdery, and just wrong. Don't ever resort to using eyeshadow as face makeup unless its like blush/bronzer.

Or when I was younger I always wanted to be tanner and a boy told me "you're pretty but you'd be REALLY pretty with a tan" and so many other comments about how pale I was so I think I was 12 or so and used a SPARKLY glitter clogged bronzer and my face powder and ended up having to go out with my mom to the store. I wanted to cry!!

@Betsy omg hahha... I did this for a while so one day I turned on the stupid thing and trimmed off the middle of my brow.
I don't know why my mom is so ancient, I'm 18 and she STILL does not want me to shave my legs. lol

Freshman year in high school I had literally no idea how to do make up, I used a black eyeliner pencil to fill in my eyebrows and my foundation was like two shades too light, and I had no idea how to contour so I literally brushed bronzer all over my face like a foundation, then I'd top it off with a heavy layer of glitterliner on my lid lol. First few years of high school wad a confusing time period for me.

^Omg yes... why was that a trend?? or is it like a kid thing?? I'd come home with friggin hearts on me and stuff and my mom would be like wth??
and then there was this trend to have everyone write all over your shoes, god if someone wrote on my shoes now I'd flip a table lol.

Yea!! I can't believe I did it!! Wow that sucks. My mom too!! But I'm 20 but she has learned not to say no since I end up doing even stupider things haha
Once when I was like 13ish I wanted pink hair but that was a no no I painted it with nail polish. Omg my hair looked like lego hair haha Yup its much more easier for her to say yes or I'll find a way haha

Hahaha omg betsy I did the same thing when I was 10, I put neon green nailpolish in my hair, and it left a small stain lol. Then I took pink nail polish and painted it on my lips as lop stick, it was AWFUL

Lmao... you know how at schools they do little things like back to the 80s, 90s or whatever and kids have to dress up according to that era?
they are going to look so retarded doing the 2000's LMAO. seriously even the style artists had was so damn questionable... the pencil thin brows, the feathers with denim on denim... the all shiny body suits and guys with flared pants up to their ankles. the bathing suits with camel toes, lining your lips with a dark color and not matching it to your lipstick so many bad mistakes... lol.

I remember once I put on bronzer really quick because I was running late then later when I got home I saw that it was blotchy and not blended, I was horrified. my lashes have started to come off at dinner before and the first time my boyfriend was starting at me weird and said there is something wrong with your eye...I was mortified.

Oh my! I can rant all day long about this lol. My eye brows! They literally grow so fast, And when I was younger I had a unknown, I still have a unibrow!
when I wear a really light foundation Once and it didn't even match my neck color, it was literally my face was pale than going down, my neck was a darker color.
My eyeliner smears all over the place!

When I was 12 I would see older girls with like pinkish (too pink) foundation and I thought that your face was supposed to be nice and rosy so I used cream blush as a foundation. I really dogged my pink face. It made me look sunburned and I thought the sunburned look was cool.
At summer camp (again about 12 years old) I smuged bright blue eyeliner all over my eye and that was my sexy makeup. I even had friends that told me I look crazy but I didn't care because I knew I looked great!

Omg I have so many horror stories! Lol when I was young I didn't understand makeup AT ALL, but I had an older sister and wanted to copy her...
1) I didn't understand that red lips was the outcome of lipstick...and I colored in my lips with marker! xD
2) I didn't know what tweezers were, so I took a razer to my eyebrows and shaved them almost completely off
3) I bought foundation that was darker than me to make me look "tan", but I looked really, really orange for a good few months
4) Lastly, I was insecure about my lower lashes since they were very long, so I literally cut them!! I still regret that to this day
