I just recently got the Revlon Colorstay for oily skin. But the problem is that it goes on a bit spotty if that's the right word. It doesn't go on that smoothly. I don't know why though! What are some tips on making it look more flawless?

Use a foundations sponge or blending sponge and make sure the sponge is a tiny bit damp then press the foundation all around. Hope this helps.

I have the liquid and powder foundation :) what I do is
1. make sure I have a clean washed face before I put any products on
2. Moisturize
3. Use Smashbox color corrector face primer
4. Apply the liquid foundation
5. Apply powder foundation for a matted look

It's such a difficult foundation, you have to thickly moisturise and primer, even if your skin is the slightest bit dry it will cling on to those areas, I previously used it and would never use the oily skin version again as it is just too difficult to work with and breaks up throughout the day x

I absolutely love this foundation! My holy grail. I deal with it on an everyday basis. It's probably the way you're applying it. I prime my fave with milk of magnesia for oil control, put some on the back of my hand to warm it up, apply a tiny bit of moisturizer to the mix, apply with my real techniques stippling brush. Set with Ben nye neutral set powder and I'm good to go. It's staying power is ridiculous! 16 hours later and I still look good.

I've never had this issue with this foundation. What are you applying it with? I use my fingers.
