Any opinions on what to color and cut my hair? I need somethin new and my roots look awful

I really love the length of your hair from your profile picture, I would definitely keep it around there! I love red for fall/winter, but if you wouldn't want to commit to that-it is a pain to get rid of. Maybe some low lights, or make your hair a darker blonde for the cooler months. What color are your roots? Do you want something close to that color so upkeep is easy?
