Highlight and contouring?!!

Please help I love doing my makeup but I never knew about highlighting and contour... Can I get some advice on what products to buy for highlight and contouring? And how do I do it?? Thanks :)

Jaqueline and Alma are experts! From what they have explained kits are better not bronzers they are a big no no! They say a cool grey toned powder is good with no shimmer to contour.

Highlight a concealer or lighter foundation. Alma told me since I asked her for a drugstore product to contour to use a darker foundation. Since contour kits like elf are just bronzer and blush. Also @Candy Alma told me that in my case for me blush was enough it has to do with bone structure I'm a newbie in this element of contouring and highlighting, hope I at least helped in some way.

Betsy is right :) basically highlighting/contouring have everything to do with bone structure. The idea behind is that the oval face shape is the "most visually pleasing," so when you h/c you add shadows to diminish things (like the hollows of your cheeks, to make your cheekbones stand out more), and you add highlights to bring your features forward more. That said, each face shape has to contour a different way in order to end up with a more oval looking face. Betsy was also right about not using bronzer :) shadows are grey, not brown or orange. Buy some brushes first. I'd recommend sigma :)
I love my mac powder bronzer (absolute favorite, holy grail) and benefit's what's upp cream highlighter (no brush needed).
